Exactly the question. What is that you feel you really need? In all honesty?
Sometimes we think we need certain things but it's not always that. Are we really honest with ourselves 100%? Are we willing to accept when things are not at their best?
We always want to be living high vibe, looking for dopamine hits, but how are you dealing with the low vibes sometimes? Moods comes and goes, they will never stay in one, there is constant movement and flow. Sometimes we are in charge of it sometimes we are not and that's ok.
When I get my lows I take some time for myself. I increase the way I look after myself and practice self care more. I take long showers or bath. Make it look like a spa! I cook healthy high vibe foods, I watch something inspiring, or talk to a real good friend. I create new habits, takes a bit time but it works!! There has been times where I would go for snacks, sweets, food in general but if anything after I felt worse, guilty too and that's nasty way to be feeling. In all honesty it took me some time to step away, I want to say it happened naturally but it hasn't. I realised that if I knew I was in charge of what was up with me I can also get out of it. I would journal stuff out of my head. The nasty thoughts too. I would ask myself what would truly help me and where Am I actually holding back right now?
Becoming aware of myself, my thoughts, my habits was crucial. Without awareness we cannot start to change things, because we don't know what we actually changing.
So let me ask you, How are you feeling emotionally at this moment? Is there anything that has been on your mind lately? What is holding you back?
As you answer those keep it simple, honest and straight forward. First thing that pops to the mind is probably the answer. Over the last couple of years I really took some time to look into what kind of people I am surrounded with and who are my friends. Having 100 friends who you chit chat with or have 1 who you can speak to anything about, be yourself and show yourself as you are. What would you choose?
What environment Am I spending most of the time? All of these need to be addressed because all of these play part in our life's. There is few questions perhaps to get started with to get to know yourself better, start making changes to step back into the true you :) Remember you are more powerful than you may realise and more than strong to make a change!
