It's time!

It has been few years since I took on a decision to change. For many many years I was living very much in victim mentality thinking everyone and everything is the reason for me being where I was. Well I was wrong. On the back of my mind was always this little voice saying "Is this really how am I going to live my life? Will I be always this way? Will I have to sacrifice myself being in a job I hardly enjoy just to pay my bills and survive with the little money I have left? I just didn't believe this was it.


As time went past I realised that if I want to change anything in my life I will have to change something about myself and at one point I was like fuck it, I am tired of living this way.


I knew what was coming, I knew there had to make some changes within. It's only now I realise how much of my life was a lie. So many beliefs I carried from the past that were not serving me at all and really keeping me limited in my life.


I wasn't aware of this before so much but as I kept digging and asking questions I recognised what is happening within my mind and what actions am I taking and where I am in my life. I wanted to change my life but at times it was fricking hard to take actions I never took before and I wasn't use to. Learn to think in a way I never thought before and to be a way I have never been before. As humans we want comfort, safety, and we stay in our habits. Its human nature.


I have listed here beliefs I subconsciously carried and I admit this is what was going on and sometimes some of these may come up here and there but it's a working progress. I would like to talk about these in little more detail.


I now learned that 95% of our life is run by the subconscious mind, If you would like more information about it here is great book to read.

Lets look at these beliefs.. As you look at the picture you might resonate with some of them. These may come from our life journey and somewhere along our way we picked them up and we took them on as our truth. I only understood this more I became honest with myself. When I admitted the truth, when I started to be more aware of what is happening within my mind.


Before any action you take, want to take or do you find yourself not doing it is a reason. Some of these beliefs are buried deep within our mind. The ones listed here are the negative ones. For sure we do have positive beliefs as well. The reason I am pointing on the negative is because these can be changed. They can be rewritten so don't lose your hope just yet my friend :)


Next time you find yourself in place of procrastination or lack of motivation, listen to what dialog is playing in background, If you find yourself hearing I don't deserve it, pause for moment and say. Actually I fucking do deserve it. If it happens again, do the same thing. You can perhaps ask why you do deserve it. Keep doing it, keep being aware of what beliefs you have and what you wish to change. If you find yourself holding onto particular that you just don't want to be part of you you can set an intention for it to be removed. There are many ways this can be done. What I found powerful is writing it down with the intention to be removed. I use shower and water to wash it away, You can imagine a colour of the belief and consciously let it transform into different colour or just release it to the sky. The power here is the intention of letting go!



Another way that I find working well is when I am about to take action and I may stop myself from doing it for any reason I do it with the help of counting down 5-4-3-2-1 (Oh Thank you Mel Robbins) then physically move towards doing it. Basically learning to do things and take actions I don't usually take. Let me tell you once you start doing this. A lot of doors will start to open for you. Talking from experience.


This is just few I shared and experienced myself. Remember things don't have to stay the way they are, we have a choice and the only person that can do that is you.
