How to deal with unexpected circumstances

There are times you may have found yourself in situations that were out of your hand but also situations that you didn't expect to happen.

Many of us live in predictable world because there are days months we have lived certain way and we became comfortable with it we would not expect anything to happen. Most of the time we also predict each day based on the day before. We predict it based on the past.

As we are so use to living comfortably each day it may be difficult to adjust when something unexpected happens. When we do come across this situation we need to pay attention if this is external (something outside of me). If you know that is something that outside of you and you cannot control it, what you then need to do is pay attention if you respond to it or if you react.

Response and Reaction are 2 different things.

Reaction - Is typically quick without much thought, can also be tense and aggressive. It usually happens quick therefore it comes from the subconscious part of our mind too.

Response - Is thought out, calm and non-threatening, situation is considered

It is easy to React and most of the time we are not aware, but if you learn to pause and breathe you will also have time to think this through.

Another important aspect here is how we perceive it. As human beings we focus on negative aspect of situations. How about we try and look at it from different eyes, and respond in a way that will benefit you rather than drag you down. You may ask questions like.

What can I learn from this? What lesson is behind is? How can I grow from this?

It is also helpful to remember this statement ( Life is happening for me, not to me )

When I applied this statement it was life changing because I was not longer a victim of life. I learned to believe that as long as our intention is right we will always be supported.

When we are pushed out of our comfort zone, transformation happens every time.

Love and blessings
