BODY CONNECTION

Another way to learn to be present and connected.

Over the past years our society became so faced paced that we have been disconnected from our bodies, instead we are up in our minds. Our bodies communicate to us all the time but how many times we are paying it attention? We are so distracted from the outer world and everything that is going on that we hardly have any time to feel, truly feel our body fully.


We all have been there. Throughout my time discovering and educating myself I feel more and more connected each time. Please bare in mind that this is a journey. Magic pills do not exist yet we are constantly looking for one (I know I was for long time).


Accepting that we are on a journey changes everything. We will stop rushing as much to the end goal. The goal here really is just to become more present and aware of the moment. Perhaps right now as you are reading this, pause for a moment and feel your feet.

Just move your attention to your feet, nothing else. Try keep your attention there and explore what you are feeling. Now you are moving your awareness away from the thoughts towards your body. Yay You are now being present. Move your toes, your feet just maintain your attention there for a while.


That's how simple it can be to shift your awareness. This is just an example. You can connect more to your body by, dancing and feeling your body while you dance. In fact let it dance for you. Allow your body to move the way it wants to move. Energy gets stuck sometimes within our body in certain places. By moving the way the body wants you to you move you are allowing the energy move through and release.


You can also practice body scan, breath-work, meditation. Just observing what there is, sensations, pulsing, be curious like it's for the first time. Feeling your heart beat, listening to your breath. Do not attach to any of it, don't question it learn just to observe. If anything popes to your mind allow it to pass and shift your awareness back to your body. It might be tricky to keep your awareness there but remember we are braking habitual pattern the has been the for years. Bare in mind by connecting to the body we are already in meditation.


You can take as little or as much you like each day. Allow yourself time time that resonates with you. Your body is a temple The only thing we are focusing on here is just to FEEL.
